Closures, chain laws and road conditions
Official weather warnings come from the national weather service where you are driving. This page is our forecast, not an official warning.
Is AB 2 closed right now?
We don’t track closures or chain controls. Check 511 Alberta before you leave; every road-conditions service along AB 2 is listed above.
How often is this page updated?
Every hour, from the latest forecast. The time at the top of the page says when it was last updated.
Is this an official weather warning?
No. This is a forecast of what to expect along the road. Official warnings come from the national weather service where you are driving.
How is this different from the app?
This page shows the whole highway at one moment. Windshield Weather follows your own drive: every stretch is forecast for the time you reach it.
