Delete your Windshield Weather account.

This page is for the Windshield Weather app, published on Google Play and the App Store by Windshield Weather. You can delete your account in the app or by signing in here on the web. Either way it takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete the account.

WHAT IS DELETED AND WHAT IS KEPT

Deleting your account immediately removes your email address and sign-in, every drive, searched place and departure time, every forecast, severity rating and briefing, your settings, and your signed-in devices. Encrypted backups holding copies of the same data are purged within 30 days. Three things are kept, none of them linked to your account once it is gone: support messages you sent us, for 12 months so we can answer follow-ups (ask and we remove them sooner); purchase records held by Apple or Google under their terms, and our copy for as long as tax law requires, up to 7 years; and anonymous feature counts that carry no identifier. If you want to keep the account but clear your history, delete individual drives from the Drives list instead. The full Privacy Policy lists everything we collect.
